Centre Fed Coaxial Omni Directional Antennas are high gain omni directional antennas, as compared to end-fed omni directional antennas using reactive non-radiating sections. The design is based on using cross-fed coaxial radiators. Absence of reactive components minimizes the losses normally encountered with omni directional antennas using reactive components to achieve in-phase radiation from multiple radiators arranged collinearly. Use of multiple collinear radiators with alternate non-radiating reactive sections to achieve higher gain after a limited collinear sections gives rise to phase differences resulting into lower gains.

To control the problem of phase difference, coaxial cross-fed radiators are used, which results into higher gains.

Shifting the feed point higher ensures the power distribution equally in both the lower and upper radiators.

The gain of the antenna improves with the increase in numbers of coaxial radiators due to the fact that use of higher number of radiators does not result into any phase difference in the radiation emitted by multiple radiators.

The problem of narrow bandwidth is solved by terminating the top section into a radiant load which results into broader bandwidth.

These heavy duty SXC Series Fiberglass Omni directional Collinear Antennas are rugged all weather models, enclosed in a Fiberglass Tube, having excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads.

In put termination of Fiberglass Omni directional Collinear Antennas is located inside the base of aluminum mounting section for weather protection and for ease of installation. These Fiberglass Omni Directional Collinear Antennas can be mounted on any metal pipe having an O.D. of 1 inch to 2 inches. Mounting hardware for side mounting or mounting on larger O.D. pipes can be supplied when requested for these Fiberglass Omni directional Collinear Antennas. When specified, Fiberglass Omni directional Collinear Antennas with wider bandwidths can be designed and supplied.

Fiberglass Omni Directional Collinear Antennas can be supplied having various colors of choice and with different types of input connectors. Our SXC series Fiberglass Omni directional Collinear Antennas have excellent Horizontal omni directional radiation pattern with constant gain over 360 degrees varying not more than ±0.5 dBi.
