General:

This SXC-8509 Fiber Glass Collinear Antenna is rugged all weather model, is enclosed in a Radome made of Fiber Glass, uses high class chrome plated Brass and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The Fiber Glass has excellent transparency for Radio Signal and mechanically Robust to impart adequate strength to the antenna structure. It is specially designed for Omnidirectional requirements for base station. The compact size of antenna allow easy handling and specially designed mounting hardware result in fast installation.


Design & Construction:
The co-axial stub matching is used for smooth VSWR and constant Gain over the specified frequency band. The all Brass antenna prevents formation of “Signal Cells”, thereby eliminating intermodulation with in the antenna. The antennas employ multiple, large diameter Brass radiating elements stacked collinearly, fed in phase and enclosed in weatherproof fiber glass housing. The antenna termination is enclosed for complete weather protection.
