General:

This SXC-1506 Fiberglass Collinear Antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a Radome made of Fiberglass, uses high class chrome plated Brass and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The Fiberglass has excellent transparency for Radio Signal and mechanically Robust to impart adequate strength to the antenna structure. The compact size of antenna allows easy handling and specially designed mounting hardware result in fast installation. The antenna comes in a single piece without any joints.


Design & Construction:

The co-axial stub matching is used for smooth VSWR and constant Gain over the specified frequency band. This heavy duty antenna is specially to avoid the uses of any Ground Plane Radials. The all Brass antenna prevents formation of “Signal Cells”, thereby eliminating intermodulation with in the antenna. The antennas consist of multiple, large diameter Brass radiating elements stacked vertically, fed in phase and enclosed in weatherproof Fiberglass housing.
