VHF / UHF CROSSED ELEMENTS QUAD-STACKED YAGI
ANTENNA
This rugged, all weather antenna, uses crossed dipoles for Vertical and Horizontal
polarization with two separate terminations.
For Circular Polarized antenna use, a single antenna termination is provided with the help
of a power combiner / splitter Harness Cable which is supplied with the array.
Quad-Stacked Yagi Array consists of FOUR Yagi Antennas with crossed elements. The array
consists of two columns of two horizontally stacked yagis.
For satellite command and control, the transmitting antenna provides circular
polarization. Phasing Harness Cable supplied with the antenna helps in field-selection of
the desired LHCP / RHCP polarization.
For polarization diversity reception the two separate antenna outputs for V&H
polarized signals come useful as receiver input.
The Quad Yagi Array is supplied with complete Mounting Hardware balanced at its centre of
gravity for mounting on a rotator for azimuth and E-plane scanning.
The Quad Array uses fixed mounting blocks on the booms of the array and all the elements
and the antenna feed systems have screw threads at the ends for fixing the elements on the
boom. This design makes the field assembly and the transit of the array an easy job.

The
cluster of antennas have a mounting arrangement to get rotated on a suitable horizontal
rod on its center of gravity.
A single
crossed element yagi antenna is designed to yield a gain of equal to 11 dBi. A Dual
Stacked Model will yield a gain of 13.5 dBi. and the Quad Stacked Crossed Element Yagi
Antenna gain will be 16 dBi.
