HF Monitoring Antenna
The HF Monitoring Antenna is an Active
Antenna with optimum gain over the entire HF band. Monitoring with the antenna is
completely covert operation and the antenna does not exhibit any ' RF Signatures'.
For its small size and light weight, the HF monitoring antenna is particularly suitable
for use in mobile stations. It's active Balun helps to keep the length of the dipoles
short and smooth SWR over the entire HF band. For operation, the monitoring antenna
requires 12 Volts / 100 mA DC power supply. A 12 Volts / 500 mA DC adopter is supplied
with the antenna.
Design & Construction
The "V" shaped arrangement of radiators enables the antenna
to be used for the reception of both Horizontal and Vertical polarized signal. Both the
radiators are supplied in three sections for ease of handling and shipping.
Installation
A tripod, which can be dismantled, is supplied along with the antenna,
as the Antenna-Mount with a carrying bag.
